How did we meet?

After meeting on New Years Eve in 2006, we clicked instantly and had the most important things to us in common - our morals and values. Despite getting along so well that night, when he left to go back home the following day he failed to get my phone number. A few days later Russell’s best mate’s (Nathan) younger sister (Nicky) messaged me with his phone number. I messaged him and we went to the movies for our first date, in early January. Russell and I had gone on a few ‘dates' since that date, but then on Australia Day in 2007 Russell officially asked me to be his ‘girlfriend’. I was 16, he was 19 and about to embark on a 2 week boys trip to Melbourne, but was adamant I gave him an answer before he left. Obviously I said yes!
